Bug#1070184: caused by favorites in places.json...

After further  investigation it turns out that my places.json which is
under $HOME/.local/share/gnome-maps/places.json is the responsible for
issue. If I remove that file then gnome-maps starts without problem.
However that file has been written by gnome-maps in the first place.

I attach the file which gives an error. However I was also able to
produce the error in a different way:

1. Open gnome-maps normally (i.e., without a problematic places.json).

2. Right-Click on a building

3. Select "What's here in the pop-up menu"

4. When the address appears, click on the star to add it as a favorite.

5. Close gnome-maps again

6. Open gnome-maps. Now it hangs. The previous execution has created a
places.json that is also causing the application to hang.

So it looks like the functionality to add favorites is kind of broken in
this version of gnome-maps. At least for certain type of favorites. If I
click on a restaurant and I add it to favorites then everything is fine.
