Bug#988432: gnome-shell: segfault in libgobject-2.0.so.0.6600.8

Hi,

I keep getting this segfault every single or second day. Most of the
crashes occur while using Gimp (painting with stylus-kind of
mouse-input; to be precise: the pen of the lenovo x230T). I cannot
recall if this was the case before all crashes, but at least 3 times
happened during similiar activities.

I use Gimp a lot. These crashes keep having severe impact on my
workflow. Is there anything one can do to avoid these crashes? I am
running on oldstable
