Dear Maintainer,
A previously installed debian system** was reconfigured via
the intallation of debian-12-5 from a dvd. That 'bookworm'
installation was updated to 'trixie' almost immediately,
and additional packages, including epiphany-browser and
konquerer browser were installed.
On opening epiphany browser, as expected, six webpage tabs
appeared, however the content of the pages was not rendered.
These pages appeared to be blank.
Moving the mouse over the pages showed that the webpage links
were present. I did not explore further.
A search on the internet suggested that libwebkitgtk might be
a source of this problem.
** prior to the reconfiguration I had saved all the packages
to a folder.
In that folder I ran
# sudo dpkg -i ./libwebkitgtk*
This reported
dpkg: warning: downgrading libwebkitgtk-6.0-4:amd64 from 2.44.1-1+b1 to 2.42.5-1
libwebkitgtk-6.0-4:amd64 depends on libjavascriptcoregtk-6.0-1 (= 2.42.5-1);
I ran
sudo dpkg -i ./libwebkitgtk* ./libjavascriptcoregtk-6.0-1*
And got

Unpacking libwebkitgtk-6.0-4:amd64 (2.42.5-1) over (2.42.5-1) ...

The pages now appear as they should.
