We have done what Simon suggested earlier and libraries that use
sysprof only use it on architectures where sysprof is built.
Therefore, sysprof being unbuildable on some architectures should not
be a blocker except for gnome-builder where I haven't tried disabling
sysprof for miscellaneous architectures (because I don't think that is
currently worth the effort).
A good example is pango. I recently enabled sysprof support there for
available architectures and pango is built on every Debian
architecture and port.
The latest gtk4 is now built for m68k; however the m68k buildds are
configured to skip dh_auto_test so I don't know if gtk4 is actually
usable there.
Thank you,
