gnome-photos has a leftover build-dependency on libgdata from its old
Google integration, but that feature was disabled in 43~beta to avoid
a libsoup2 dependency. I've verified that removing the build-dependency
does not affect the contents of the binary packages (when working around
the FTBFS by using the nocheck build profile).
libgdata is no longer maintained upstream, so we should clean up unused
dependencies on it to get a more realistic picture of how hard it would
be to remove libgdata.
I'm not actually going to upload the fix for this, because gnome-photos
FTBFS against current gegl (see #1040746, #1040202) and fixing that is not
something I'm particularly interested in investigating. However, I'll push
a change to remove the unused B-D so that if someone is interested in this
package, they won't have to fix the libgdata dependency, only the FTBFS.
