The git plugin was removed and is mentioned in debian/changelog

gedit-plugin-bracket-completion and geidt-plugin-code-comment still
exist in Trixie and work for me. Do you see any errors when you start
gedit from the command line?
In the future, I recommend filing separate bugs. Missing from synaptic
is a different issue than having the red error in the gedit
preferences dialog.
