Evolution got into a busy loop

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

That it would open the folder instead of getting stuck

The maintainers' repair that they asked me to ask you to backport is at

The same problem occurs in evolution 3.56.1-1 in Debian 13 Trixie.

BTW it isn't helpful that while "reportbug" is installed by default, at
least
in Debian 12 Bookworm it required uninstalled gir1 packages to run the
graphical version.
