Package: gnome-weather
Version: 48~beta-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

This problem has been present on my system for several versions.
I do not know if this is something wrong in my session regarding any settings
for this component.

Log messages are like this:

16:22:55 org.gnome.Weath: Unhandled promise rejection. To suppress this
warning, add an error handler to your promise chain with .catch() or a try-
catch block around your await expression. Stack trace of the
 failed promise:

deprecated.

16:18:28 org.gnome.Weath: Unhandled promise rejection. To suppress this
warning, add an error handler to your promise chain with .catch() or a try-
catch block around your await expression. Stack trace of the
 failed promise:

And there is then a defunct dbus-daemon process that I suspect is related to
'Failed to activate ...: time out'
because after that the component is at some point activated and working.

More over, gnome-core depends on gnome-weather so removing it will do a cascade
of removals down to task-desktop-gnome
that I would like to keep installed in any cases, and so without creating a
dummy package! :-)

Regards,
Patrice
