In fact it doesn't work: with the patch Rebecca found, it compiles
successfully, but it can't actually burn a data CD-RW on my system. This
is not a regression, the binaries in testing can't either.

I think we are likely to need some of the other patches contributed
upstream by the same author. According to
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/brasero/-/issues/374 , Arch Linux is
already building a git snapshot (possibly also applying changes as patches,
I'm not sure).
