Thanks.  I should have found it myself but somehow I did not.  Removing the deb-multimedia.org from the list of repositories (under /etc/apt/sources.list.d) solved the problem.  After that (I write it here for future reference):

# apt update
# dpkg --force-depends -r libgstreamer-plugins-bad1.0-0
# apt --fix-broken install
