Bug#1100731: gimp: Artifacts when zooming while a text layer is edited

Dear Maintainer,

when I activate editing some text layer and try zooming the whole image with
Ctrl+wheel, there remain artifacts of the previous zoom levels of the
image on the background.

I recorded how to reproduce the bug: https://0x0.st/8QkR.mp4
(there's 3.0.0~RC2 on the video, I tested it on 3.0.0-2 too though).
