Package: gnome-settings-daemon
Version: 49.1-2
Severity: normal

(I'm not sure if this bug is in gnome-settings-daemon or some other part
of GNOME.)
After upgrading to latest unstable, the maximum brightness of my display
was very dim; turning it up all the way resulted in a total brightness
somewhere around 30-50% of what it was before.
I was only able to fix this by turning HDR off in the Display settings,
then turning the brightness up, then turning HDR back on, then turning
the brightness up.
