Bug#1121345: Key remains pressed in XWayland windows after closing window with keyboard shortcut
Yaroslav Halchenko
debian at onerussian.com
Mon Nov 24 20:57:40 GMT 2025
Package: mutter
Version: 49.1.1-2+b1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream patch
It is described in detail at
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/4416
and upstream addressed it by reverting recent change
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/4737
I do not know when it would be released, but would have been nice to adopt the
patch in debian if release is not coming any time soon -- the behavior is
really annoying and no other workaround really provided.
