Package: mutter
Version: 49.2-1

I just tried the live USB of Debian Testing as of November 28, 2025.

It booted into a Wayland session (great) but I found that X11 apps like gparted were not scaled at all.

I use dual 27" 4K displays and my scaling is set to 150%.

Wayland apps (such as the terminal, or firefox) were scaled properly.

By comparison, X11 apps such as gparted appeared to not be scaled at all, they were too small.

My computer has an NVIDIA graphics card (for gaming in Windows) but I don't think it's a driver issue.

According to a post on Reddit, this bug appears for other people too and is specific to Testing and GNOME 49.2.
