Bug#1118444: Nautilus slow, scanning certain folders repeatedly, and reporting duplicate child name

Appears to be this issue:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/issues/4014
I can workaround it by ensuring that ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs has this
set (even if the directory doesn't exist):
XDG_TEMPLATES_DIR="$HOME/Templates"
Having it set to $HOME/ seems to cause the problem.
I see hundreds of these entries in journalctl otherwise:
Oct 23 17:27:30 greivous org.gnome.Nautilus[88120]: While adding page:
duplicate child name in GtkStack: old
