Hi,

thanks a lot for your report!  Please note that version 2.6.4 of Balsa is /very/ old – the current release is 2.6.5 (<https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/balsa/-/releases/2.6.5>).

Afaict, this particular bug (plus *lots* of others since the 2.6.4 release…) has been fixed in May 2024 with commit <https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/balsa/-/commit/87f0713e31c1fd089390da21e21b2cdb66e6250f>.
