loupe in Trixie: JPG is not diplayed

Hello Debian Gnome-maintainer,

I am unsure if the following is a bug and I should open a bugreport, so 
I ask with this mail:

In Trixie, loupe doesn't display a few JPGs. I reported that to 
gitlab.gnome.org and I was told that there is an updated library 
upstream that is not yet used in Debian Trixie:

Is there a chance to hope for a backported newer version?

Funfact: On a diffferent machine, the OS is updated from older Debian 
releases and 'eye of gnome' is still the default picture viewer in gnome 
there. Eye of gnome shows those special JPGs....
