This was surprisingly easy. The trigger is switching between workspaces, either using the mouse and clicking the worspace icons in the top bar or using Ctrl+↑ and Ctrl+↓. My workspaces are stacked vertically.

Getting these messages is fine with me as long as we are debugging; no need to silence them.
