Package: gnome-weather
Version: 48.0-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I do not want to have the gnome weather widget/applet below the calendar,
but there is no way to remove or disable it.

The upstream bug report[1] ended with the conclusion that the only
way to disable the weather widget is to uninstall the gnome-weather package,
but it is a hard dependency of gnome-core and task-gnome-desktop.
Removing it will thus break things on the next big major update.

An option to remove it is to install the "Just Perfection"[2] extension,
but it should not be necessary to install another application to disable
an installed one.

Please provide a way to get rid of gnome-weather in the UI.
