Dear Maintainer,

What led up to the situation? Unknown

What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?Attempt to launch a help screen in any program, it fails to
show any text, I tried launching yelp from a command line and I still get the
blank white screen.

What was the outcome of this action? A blank white screen shows with this in
the command line output:
        yelp

What outcome did you expect instead? To be able to view help files.
If it matters I'm using MATE 1.28.2 for a desktop with NVIDIA GPUs.
