If it turns out to be  a libreoffice bug, yes.... I am not going to file a bug there if it isn't sure that it's actually a LO bug. I know how they would handle it...

That would mean other distros would have needed to have it patched?

Interestingly I don't see any related patch in Fedora (which uses 2.44.4 and 2.44.5 in rawhide since 6 days). Gentoo has neither (and that is even with an even older LO) and neither in OpenSUSE.

Didn't check more yet (wouldn't even know where to look for), but...
