Package: localsearch
Version: 3.12.0-1
Severity: important
Tags: patch upstream
Forwarded: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/localsearch/-/merge_requests/705

Since 3.11.2, localsearch-extractor-3 segfaults on any .abw file that is neither XML nor valid gzip. It restarts, picks the same file, crashes again. Loops every ~2 s while the file exists.

Reproducer:
{ printf '\x1f\x8b\x08\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x03'; head -c 3000 /dev/urandom; } > badgz.abw
localsearch extract badgz.abw

Ubuntu report: https://launchpad.net/bugs/2168518

Workaround: delete or rename the offending file.

Awaiting upstream review before proposed a Debian patch.
