The actual failures are extensive, but include:
FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'supercc'
FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'clang'
This appears to be because the gobject-introspection test suite is
patching setuptools to use a mock function instead of actually running
the C compiler, but setuptools changes have meant that the mock function
isn't called, so the test really tries to run a (nonexistent) custom C
compiler.
