only occurs white some gdm themes.<br>

gdm-themes (by deleting them from /usr/share/gdm)<br>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-top: 0pt;">solves the problem
(like temporary work around). Just login as a single user. Then as root
(no X enviroment)</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-top: 0pt;">Then remove or rename
(safer) the /usr/share/gdm/themes directory<br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-top: 0pt;">gdm will revert to
basic gnome welcome screen.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-top: 0pt;">I reinstalled the
themes as well and chosed another one </p>

well. Everything is fine for the moment.<br>
