I have exactly the same problems as reported in #531520:<BR>

only black screen when I choose gnome in kdm. I get an error<BR>
message:<BR>

There is a problem with the configuration server,<BR>
(/usr/lib/libgconf2-4/gconf-sanity-check-2 existed with status 256)<BR>
<BR>

In the attachment I send you the process list when I start gnome.<BR>
<BR>
KDE works without problems. The only thing that does not work when<BR>
I start KDE is evolution-exchange. Maybe these two bugs are related:<BR>
