    I can still confirm the bug, I am using gnome-shell version "3.14.4-1".    Is it fixed or the root cause found?  if there is any other workaround to overcome the issue plese let me know.

   <br/>I couldn't find any specific pattern of this freezing issue.  But, for me freezing happened in the following situations/scenarios,

   1.  When the notification/dialogue boxes are opened
  </div> 
  <div>
        ex a) file properties dialgue
  </div> 
  <div>
             b) (file) save location selection dialogue opened
  </div> 
  <div>
   2.  While browsing (randomly & some 50+ tabs opened in iceweasel) 
  </div> 
  <div>
   3.  While opening nautilus/gedit etc as root user
  </div> 
  <div>
   Almost all the freezing scenario the mouse pointer is moving but click function not works.
  </div> 
  <div>
    
  </div> 
  <div>
   On each freeze I do switch to tty1 and issuing  "/etc/init.d/gdm3 restart".
