Hi, after some time I've retried to do the debootstrap, using the latest 
'debootstrap_1.0.55_all.deb'.
The QNAP system is always the same (no kernel change).

Wheezy still fails:

[/share/HDA_DATA/debootstrap] # ./usr/sbin/debootstrap --no-check-gpg --arch 
i386 stable /share/HDA_DATA/newdebian http://ftp.it.debian.org/debian

So Mr. Yutaka you're right; maybe things changed again in 'sid' and it doesn't 
raise the 'core dumps' error!
