Package: gnupg2
Version: 2.1.7-2
Severity: normal
Hi,
after upgrading to 2.1, the import process said (redacted):
gpg: key 0x...: secret key imported
... but the corresponding file (found with --with-keygrip, thanks dkg)
did not exist as a result in ~/.gnupg/private-keys-v1.d/, and any
operation that required my secret key failed with a "no secret key"
message or similar.
My private key material is on a smartcard.
Then, once I've run `gpg --card-status' (thanks NIIBE Yutaka) once
with the smartcard plugged in, everything started working again
just fine.
Thanks for maintaining gnupg2 in Debian!
Cheers,
