Hi dkg and others!
(Mentioning you dkg, since you are listed as a co-maintainer of gpa
together with me).
I hope you all enjoyed debconf - I have watched the gpg-related talks
and BoFs.
What are your thoughts about gpa and it's relation gpg-agent? We have
got a few bugreports, even with a solution, regarding the gpg-agent
problems that has been visible lately.
(See #760237 [1], #761026 [2], and #790737 [3] which contains a
workaround [4])
1 - http://bugs.debian.org/760237
2 - http://bugs.debian.org/761026
3 - http://bugs.debian.org/790737
4 - https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=790737#25http://bugs.debian.org/790737#25
I don't know about this solution, it seems a bit "hackish" to
me, so I am open for suggestions and ideas. To me it looks like most of
this will be solved "by itself" when we get gpg 2.1 into unstable, and
gnome-keyring behaves as it should.
Comments, ideas, thoughts?
