Installing pinentry-gtk2 and setting pinentry-gtk2 as the default via
update-alternatives, does indeed bring back the pinentry dialog in
icedove/thunderbird and enigmail.

Is this a bug in enigmail then? Any ideas why this worked with gpg2.0?
