[pkg-gnupg-maint] Bug#847552: gnupg: decrypting after X pinentry is sometimes slow: around 10 seconds on a small file

Package: gnupg
Version: 2.1.16-3
Severity: normal
Decrypting, either by opening an encrypted file or via
"gpg -d file.gpg", is sometimes slow. The pinentry window
appears immediately, but then, I need to wait around 10 seconds.
This problem seems to occur only when the X11 pinentry window
appears (the one via pinentry-gnome3), not when the curses UI
is used.
