I chose the second solution (it is better as it is user-level).

I initially got:

$ gpg -d note.gpg
gpg: AES encrypted data
gpg: cancelled by user
gpg: encrypted with 1 passphrase
gpg: decryption failed: No secret key

Why "cancelled by user"???

Note: I got this error immediately, and no windows are opened.

A few minutes later, everything was OK.
