the cc list covered a lot of ground because the new upstream is actually

I'm talking about the whole pygpgme source package.  GnuPG upstream has
effectively taken it over with the gpgme package.

Right, if we upload python bindings from upstream's gpgme source, then i
think we should be able to resolve these bugs.

yes, we need better documentation -- i'd be happy to see if we can get
GnuPG upstream to merge some of these documentation improvements.  it
would certainly be helpful.

what do you think about having the gpgme1.0 source package just take
over python-gpgme and python3-gpgme binary packages entirely, thereby
dropping the pygpgme source package from debian?
