[pkg-gnupg-maint] Bug#917287: failure to install x32 port from iso netboot image: gpgv unknown digest algorithm

Package: gpgv
Version: 1.4.18

I’m trying to run the installer from http://debian-x32.org/d-i/netboot.iso . The mirror is set by default to ftp.debian-x32.org, directory /debian/. It says “downloading a file failed”. I hit alt-F4 to get to the error console to investigate, and the last few lines are (omitting timestamps)

choose-mirror: DEBUG: command: wget -q http://ftp.debian-x32.org/debian//dists/jessie/main/binary-x32/Release -O - | grep ^Architecture:
anna: WARNING **: bad d-i Packages file
net-retriever: gpgv: md_enable: algorithm 10 not available
net-retriever: gpgv: Signature made Sat Aug 25 17:05:17 2018 UTC using RSA key ID BED007F9
net-retriever: gpgv: Can’t check signature: unknown digest algorithm
net-retriever: error: Bad signature on /tmp/net-retriever-2779-Release

So maybe the signatures are done with a newer digest algorithm and therefore gpgv on the ISO image needs to be updated?
