FWIW: GnuPG master has dedicated support for Yubikeys and since today
allows on-the-fly switching between the PIV and the OpenPGP application
on the Yubikey. Thus you can use the Yubikey to sign commits with the
OpenPGP key and also use it in Firefox or Thunderbird via the scute.org
(git master) pkcs#11 provider.
