As I consider gnupg1 an important package to keep in a stable release, I
intend to fix this soon via a NMU. There is already a patch around here,
a patch at least slightly better than just poking the compiler options,
but would like to discuss it with upstream first.

Please allow me until the end of next week (Jan 10th) to resolve this,
although I hope it will take no longer than Monday.
