Hello,
this is my first post here. I'm an experienced dev and FOSS contributor
which worked quite some with gpg recently. I already posted other
questions in gnupg-users at gnupg.org.
I've found out through many stations that gpg is outdated between 12
months and 3 years on Debian. Then I looked a bit into the package
maintainer list and now I am here.
I got some questions:
1. What is the best way to help out that gpg will get updated in debian?
2. How is this gpg maint group organized? How open is it for newcomer?
What are the best point of contacts to get into it?
3. How does the recent departure of Christoph affect this maintaining work?
4. Why this mailing list contains so much spam?
