I am writing to tell you about the real news.

Well known Falun Gong practitioner and Beijing-based painter Xu Na has been
sentenced to eight years in prison on Jan. 16 after a sham trial — the
latest round of abuse she has endured in the 20 years of persecution that
saw her lose her husband to the Chinese communist regime.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a Chinese traditional practice. By
1999 about 100 million people had started practicing Falun Gong in China.
Jealous of its popularity, the CCP’s former Chairman Jiang Zemin launched
the genocide against Falun Gong. Millions of practitioners fell victim to
kidnapping, torture, murder, and forced organ harvesting. Unfortunately
still no signs of any change until today.

Falun Gong is a practice of meditation and gentle physical exercises. The
three basic principles of it are truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.
Practitioners try to achieve a state of selflessness and inner balance. It
claims to not be a formal organization, have a cost or a membership.
