That is clearly suboptimal. I am also do not fond of the fact that
documentation for AM_PATH_GPGME requiring an earlier invocation of
AM_PATH_GPG_ERROR seems to be missing.

Since upstream BTS is offline for the weekend I cannot check whether
this is a known issue.
