Sorry, I haven't noticed your message in quite some time - and I have
actually started some porting myself - see

where I have a branch port-gtk3. It would be great consolidate our
efforts. However - I must say that I don't know if upstream has any
interest in GPA any longer, and I not quite interested in becoming the
upstream.
