Hi Andreas,
You are the first person of the "debian gpg team" (i saw "team upload"
in the changelog on your latest upload, so i supposed you are part of
it) to react to this bug in 5 years.
I will not lie, I'm (like others) pissed off by this situation, where
we (= the people asking for a change in the debian package) are ignored
like a pile of poop on the sidewalk.
Over the years, 2 merge request or patches have been provided:

- https://salsa.debian.org/twolife/gpgme/-/commits/gpgmejson
I think we have done our part. But all we got was... nothing!
Not a review, not even a word. Just plain ignore.
This is insulting.
What are we supposed to do ?
What do YOU want us to do for this to advance ?
More code/MR ?
More begging ?
