Hello Bryan,

Regarding the Debian side of things  and trixie: fltk 1.4 was added to
trixie in April, after the transition freeze. So it was too late to
move the dependening packages to 1.4.

Additionally pinentry upstream currently only supports fltk 1.3:
(sid)ametzler at argenau:/tmp/PINENTRY/pinentry$ ./configure --help | grep -i fltk
  --enable-pinentry-fltk  build FLTK 1.3 pinentry
