Our DEB_HOST_ARCH is kfreebsd-i386.

I encourage you to reconsider this.  If it works on i386 cpus (i.e. debian
arches "i386", "kfreebsd-i386", etc) there's no reason to think it won't
work on all of them.

Then the archname is kfreebsd-i386, and the ffcall/libffi options are
the same as on linux-gnu.
