	Hi,

I think it's best to using the mailing list to discuss about the GNUstep=
 packaging policy.

1- First we should discuss about names of simple packages (i.e with only=
one app, or only one framework, or only one bundle...)
 1.1- Source packages:
	 <name>.app or <name>.framework ...
Should <name> should be the same than upstream (using lowercase) ?
For libraries there is a Debian policy and a Debian libraries packaging=
 guide.
 1.2- Binary packages
I suggest same names than in source package.

2- Wrappers
 2.1- Wrapper name
Should we use same name than upstream (with uppercase) ?
Should we suffix with .app, if the name is too generic or confusive (li=
ke Desktop) ?
 2.2- Manpages
	Any suggestions ?

3- Menu
 3.1 Menu title:
I suggest same than wrapper name
 3.2 Any suggestions ?

4- Complex packages (that mix apps, frameworks, tools or libraries like =
addresses-for-gnustep)
4.1- Source packages:
	How to name them ?
4.2- Binaries packages
	Any suggestions ?

	Eric
