I've taken gus' script, made some little modifications and fixes, and
put it in the gnustep-back package.
Everyone, please test the package, and let me know if you have any
problems, or if you have any comments. Just download and install the
gnustep-back0.10 deb from
<http://www.uhoreg.ca/programming/debian/gnustep/packages/gnustep-back>.
(And, of course, make sure that defoma is installed.) After you install
it, all the fonts that are registered with defoma should be available to
GNUstep applications.
If there are no problems reported, I'll upload the package.
(gus, if you have time, could you check that I'm calling defoma properly
from the maintainer scripts? I mainly just copied from gs-common.)

I've also modified the gnustep-back art backend to search in
/var/lib/defoma/gnustep-nfont.d for fonts, so that the script doesn't
need to create the symlinks.
