Thanks.  Another user also confirmed it as well as upstream, so this
should be fixed for Lenny.

No, I just noticed that too; it is another bug.  Sigh...

If you set a multi-glyph font like DejaVu as application font you'll
see more characters, but still the ultimate goal is to display the
missing ones using the installed fonts.  I'll investigate.
