I can contact the maintainers to see what packages they have already
tested.  For the maintainers who don't reply, I will rebuild their
packages in my pbuilder environment.  But I believe that Gürkan has
already rebuilt many packages against what was in experimental before
(which is very close to the new upstream stable release, which is
currently in experimental, minus gnustep-gui, which I am reuploading
shortly).

No, none of the current GNUstep packages depend on these.

I should add:
- etoile (camaelon.app needs updating to work with new gnustep-gui,

OK, I will report back when I find out how many packages the maintainers
have tried rebuilding.
