Could you please summarize what precisely has to be done for
Objective-C and GNUstep?

Still unassigned, unfortunately...

Once GCC is fixed, and provided that no unpleasant issues arise with
libffi/libffcall, I anticipate that the whole GNUstep stack will build
(and run) without problems -- but of course that's uneducated guess.
