Thanks for the report and sorry that it took us so long to respond.

I can reproduce the bug on a Lenny system, but it got automagically 
fixed when we eradicated the -libffi packages.  FYI, due to a bug in 
gnustep-make currently the library is always built without optimization.  
This is fixed in the upcoming 1.19.1-1 release where I've implemented 
"noopt", which works around this bug.
