[Debian GNUstep maintainers] Why Base 1.19?

I wonder why 1.19 was chosen.  This is an unstable release, and
usually there are no point releases.  Further modifications to the
unstable branch might break ABI (like the recent NSZone breakage).  

GUI might have bugfix point releases (e.g. <even>.N) that are *in
line* with the corresponding Base stable releases, e.g. 1.18, so in
such (unlikely to happen) cases we'd be out of sync and would have to
roll up our sleeves to get the GNUstep stack in Debian in a working
state.

Sure, it's the beginning of the Squeeze cycle so breakage is supposed
to happen.  Or maybe there are compelling reasons to use 1.19?  Am I
missing something?
